Time of Death: Way Too Soon.
"YESTERDAY OVER 20 VETERANS WERE LOST TO SUICIDE.
That makes the war at home more dangerous than all of our combat missions around the world. Let's end the stigma surrounding Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury. Let's end the silence. Let's save our veterans." - #Mission22
22. The number of veterans we lose to suicide EVERY day. These numbers don't make the news. Take a minute just to let that sink in. These are not just random faces. These are brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters. These are fathers and mothers. If the battle at home is the most dangerous mission of these veteran's lives, why aren't we doing more to help?
I have been called to join the mission to put an end to veteran suicide. With you're help, we can fight for these men and women who have fought so hard for us.
Home with The Stones is teaming with a very wonderful charity. #Mission22. If you have never heard of them, please take a minute to click this link and check them out. We are pledging a portion of every transaction to #Mission22. With a goal of reaching $6500 by the end of 2018.
Why this amount? It is the cost to sponsor one veteran complete through a rehabilitation program. In addition to a large portion of our sales, we are going to have a donation area added to the website. All money collected will go directly to #Mission22.
If you or anyone you know, could directly benefit from this program. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I have a ton of resources through #Mission22. And here at Home with The Stones, we understand. You are not alone. You are family.
